Shadow

Shadow is a beautiful precocious 2 year old Border Collie. I have never had a Border Collie before and it has been an interesting experience. She is so smart and always one step ahead of me all the time. She and I are learning how to heard sheep together and it has been a challenge for me, but she is coming along nicely. Right now her favorite pass time is herding my chickens. She has one rooster that is her favorite. I have several dogs and we are one big happy family here and we all miss her terribly. Last Friday February 9th a neighbor ran over Shadow in our driveway right in front of me. I rushed her to the Vet and he did what he could, but due to the extent of her injuries, a broken pelvis, I had to take her to Oklahoma State University Veterinary School. She will undergo surgery and have pins placed in several locations to help her heal. I have decided to add a space on my website to allow for donations for Shadow, but also to expand on this and continue to accept donations for our local pet rescue; W.O.O.F. run by Debbie Kinney (580) 256-3320.
